Mexico and the sun.....

And off to Mexico we go.... Playa del Carmin, to be precise. As in many things...first you have to get there. There was a period of time one couldn't use a GPS on an aircraft..a security thing...that has now passed and I was able to play with mine. I was able to keep track of our routing and really? it gave me something to do on the 6 hr flight.

Sharon can sleep from the moment the wheels leave the ground.

Recall the big deal about crop circles?

A six hour flight, a three hour airport/Customs/taxi experience....this is the view from our hotel room, first night.

And this is what it looks like in the light of day.

And..what does one do in playa del Carmin? welll.....walk on the sand, try to not let peddlers sell you your won sandals back...admire the scantily clad folks out sunning and avert your eyes from the less than worthy of your gaze. Some men and women should not be allowed to wear what they do. There is a clothing optional beach....and no doubt we'll pay a visit, but I am not sure I'll be able to join in the merriment. My once proud physique is...I am now one of those that shouldn't be permitted to stroll about naked.

At Senor Frogs...even medium sized beers are similar in size to an aquarium.

And the boys all wanna play with Sharon

There are two ferries running over to Cozumel. This would be one...we are hoping to get over for some snorkeling but for the moment, the weather is kinda cloudy and windy with some drizzle. I don't mind it at all, but it doesn't make for good water stuff.

 Fruit cups....

5th Ave...no traffic...only bars and shops and peddlers
