We went off to the Mayan ruins in Coba.... took the ADO bus....that'd be the cross country carrier. Station just 3 blocks from our hotel. Had made the reservation the day before and it all worked like a charm.
We didn't know how we were going to do this...there are 'offers' for tour guides galore...but we walked on and ta daaa....bike rental!!! for 2.50 USD....a bargain.
It took 3 tries to get one for me...too small, too small...seat flopping.....this is the seat tighting operation.
The Temple.....no, we didn't...fuck that.....those rock stairs coming down.....we wathced and could see the agony.
We were looking for the alters where the dealt with the virgins........and found them.....
