Sikorsky Chicksaw cherry dryers....

Sikorsky helicopters....

Been around for ever....and the new ones I am familiar with. But..not so much the older birds. We had been down in Washington for a three day camp out at a lake up in the hills above Lake Chelan..Lake Antilon...nice spot...well...except for thr tree that came down and blocked the road out. However..thanks to my trusty pruning saw and the 12,0000 Warn winch? I am here to tell the tale of the cherry drying choppers....

On the way home and just coming up the hill from Brewster...a field of old Sikorksy's. And not just that..4? Hueys...yeah..for real Hueys....and they use them to dry the cherry's on the trees after a rain.

Taz...

This is the FNG that got tasked to show us around.

RedDog...in the hanger for some airframe work.

I forget the name of this one..but it is the lie detector ship. Seems that even pilots like to embellish a wee bit....so this is the chopper that separates actuals from fantasies.
