The things that cause traffic problems in Yellowstone.
We had left Yellowstone after 3 days, went to Cody for the Boot Scootin Boogie thing, then back into the Park for one more go-round. There are 4 different gates into the park so this tie it was from the east, heading to West Gate. Getting from Cody to the Park took us thru Shoshone Canyon and I am planning a fall trip back here. Man, it was so strong and colourful. Narrow, colours, ranches and no fucking people.
A slide has happened here....
Driving to West Gate and out of the Park, we went about 10 miles to a State campground. This wasn`t our exact view, but when we walked across a road and about 100 yards to the lakes edge....
Okay....this was my birthday dinner spot. I was spoiled badly and we all ate huge amounts of food and copious amounts of wine...all except Sharon, who doesn`t drink alcohol. She`d like to but it upsets her tummy..so I am forced to drink her share. Oh well....
The next day had us back into the Park for our last visit.
Hollywood was at Mid Geysers...
Old Faithful did her thing for us too
And then we had an early supper at West Gate... Bullwinkles...
