The wind..she is blowin in Oregon, boys....

Spent last night in Coos Bay...in a Safeway parking lot. Wifi, you understand.

While cruising about I saw this very cool tree....

And ms Maya so didn't want to budge this morning.

There was..is..a major storm blowing onto the coast today. This is also Spring Break for the states kids and all of these coastal  towns are chock-a-block filled with kids and their now rather desperate parents. Kids have to be entertained...and while the idea of being on the beach during a gale force storm is romantic...that quickly fades and the reality is...now what do we do mom/dad? I was at a mall and it looked to em like they took'em shopping.

Spending tonight in Garibaldi...an old logging town...that happens to have a great water view. It can be an interesting adventure....I was talking to a couple that were out walking a dog, asking them if they thought I was going to get a visit from the law. There are RV parks all over the place. We yakked away for a bit....she is a teacher and about to set sail on a NOAA ship, for Alaska as an on-board teacher. So..we talked that..and then pollution and I mentioned I was from Kitimat and the Douglas Channel things...and the pipelines....and she said...if the cops show up, tell them...(insert her name here) said you could park here. Turns out she is a Director of the local federally funded Conservation agency that has a building right over there...

My night spot.....right on the water....
