Saturday afternoons...we have a brew pub here...we have four...but this particular one...The Cannery...has a piano just sitting there waiting to be played. I have been going in now on Saturdays, just to hang out with Mickey...chat and dick around around with a camera. Yesterday it was a Live feed thru Facebook. Have you tried it yet? That is the coolest feature...
I am on RV.Net quite a bit. Ostensibly to garner info and often enough to share the same...places to camp, how to address a broken or not functioning this or that. But..inevitably I find myself embroiled in a discussion of how to treat those that are living in their cars or truck or rv's in various places...like Wal-Mart or some secretive back place. People without means. I travel this way, but by choice.I am keeping my bucks for my travel, not to pay for an RV cement pad. I find it hard to read people's typed missives that read..'I am so much better off than those people and I shouldn't have to see them'. 'They should not be doing this anyway...they need to move'. Most would probably love to. The Slabs in southern Ca attracts a lots of people living on the edge. Been there..liked it. There are other places where people of little or no means can just 'be'. Yes..for sure...there are drugs and thefts and fights...why, just like in your hometown...but people will congregate and find strength in groups of people just like themselves.
So...like we try to educate others about not being racist..or sexist...so, stop being uppity with people worse of than you. That doesn't mean giving cash or goods..although a gift card for food is bonus time...but looking at folks in the eye...say hello...nod your head. Treat people the way you want to be treated. Stop being trashy.

Was reading an article about Trump and his golfing habit...said that folks don't really mind he is doing so much golf....(recall what he said about Obama golfing?) author said "people don't care about Trump golfing..what they hated was an uppity negro golfing". Doesn't that just about make you wanna be sick?
