Dear Diary....what I did in Seattle on Sunday

What to do on a Sunday in Seattle......

One should always start with a breakfast at Luna Park....

Greek eggs...lots of spinach, fresh tomato and feta cheese.....

Ya gotta get a sticker, eh....

Then, one could, and we did, wander down the the Ballard Locks

One which is under repair.

Tub-boat Alaska Titan was coming in to the locks.

Note the size of the chain links....man...now THAT is a towing chain.

The lock in action...

The spillway..and although it is hard to see them...there are a bunch of grebes diving and swimming up to the outflow...surfacing and surfing backwards.

Watch closely now......

A fine dog named Sailor was at the locks, too.

It's not about the urinals...it's the black and white art shot.

Okay...what next?  How about the Fremont District....where we found the Sunday street market was in full swing.

Great older leather bags for sale

and coolers.....

Plus..I found myself two wonderful books.
