Smithers and fry on the Kitimat River

Stopped in Smithers to spend an evening with friends Jean and Ingo. Ingo took me up to the local trout hatchery.

The trail of ants over one of the walk-ways. geeez....what were they carrying, I wonder.

Going thru Moricetown..man, the rivers were all high and just roaring.

Sharon had to have her car serviced in Terrace on Wednesday, so we met up Tuesday night, dropped the car and went off to a spot on the Skeena River for the night. Breakfast was bacon and toad-in-the-hole. God I love the taste of bacon......

You use the fat to fry the bread..then drop an egg into the hole....

Crossing over the Kitimat River...see the Canada Fisheries guys getting ready to release some baby fish (fry). These are 80,000 of 450,000
